howto make fire on snow

In this video, i demonstrate what i enjoy doing in the forest. That is – to explore the bigger questions of life through play. Learning howto play safely in the woods is a lost art. In the wild outdoors we learn about how to take care of ourselves. This is where experiential education makes the most sense to me. And you can bet, that personal learning around self care, risk management & communication skills out here in the woods, impacts powerfully our lives back in our home. During our time playing outdoors, I utilizing an approach called ‘creative intervention’. It’s an approach which has collaborators (friends & clients & co-authors) connecting creatively with their own talents & helping others. I document my collaborator’s experience & co-creative with them a book (ebook or print) &/or a youtube video. One of my information cards reads, “For over thirteen years, Christoph Kesting has been working alongside of more than thirteen mental-health and support organizations, ranging from Trellis Mental Health to Hospice Wellington. His tenure as the artistic director of the Guelph Youth Theatre company” (now named, Educational Theatre Collective), “brought a surge of creativity & accessibility to the community”. (Thank you, SK) “Christoph accesses the power of narrative therapy for his clients, through his unique facilitation of the collaborative storytelling process.” (D.Hamilton)
