I don’t believe for …
I don’t believe for one minute that these brushes are cruelty free. So they take wild badgers and squirrels and put them on their laps and give them haircuts and brush them and collect the hairs? pffft yeah RIGHT! At the very least, they’re trapped in the wild where they should be and kept in cages just so people with more money than sense spend on luxury makeup brushes when there are many nice synthetic alternatives.

Thats great they …
Thats great they detail what animal hairs are used. I’m alergic to goat hair, so obviously most of my brushes are synthetic for that reason. Took a loooong time to figure out initially why my brushes gave me a rash lol. For the longest time I thought it was the makeup causing the reaction. Great review, thanks for the info!

Just because I like the artwork doesn’t mean I like anything else about them. I’m allowed to have opinions too! Get over yourself.

I’m sorry, but I …
I’m sorry, but I have to agree with tinafromohio. If they’re cruelty free then, why would they take away innocent animals hair. I don’t believe they don’t kill them or something like that. Soooo sad.

Sometimes they get …
Sometimes they get the hair from other companies or from animals that are already died. For example some leather shops get the cow skins from meat companies so the whole animal doesn’t go to waste.

I just glanced through the original Japanese website, they said the animal hair is imported either from Europe or China. There is nothing mentioned about animal cruelty.
