Very nice, thank you for sharing. My peas shot up too, my first year doing peas. My spinach and radishes went to seed already.
“I don’t know what that is?”-maybe send pic to greendeane at eat the weeds-he’s been a giant help to me at identifying unknowns.

Wow, I can’t even imagine trying to keep track of all that, but it looks like I may have to start. Glad everything is turning out to be relatively healthy and edible. Also, love the cat. I have a black cat named Jazz that acts very similiarly. Very playful. Good vid!

hi monica, i am glad to see you again, your gardin looks very good. i planted my green pepppers too close to my zukeeny, the zukeeny shaded out my peppers, so i had to transplant them to a more sunny place. Have you heard of a fall garden? lets plan on this late summer

    Thanks again for …
Thanks again for sharing your garden. I loved the tour. We’re doing much of the same things. We grew wheat this year, which was an amazing crop, and made bread from it. I’m also growing chia and amaranth, but they germinate so well, I have trouble with thinning/ crowding in my “meadow” system. I love the way chia the plant looks. Have you any experience with the chia seed harvest?

“Wow. Look at the size of these peas…(munch, munch, munch)” Haha!

Monica, could you use screen material for the separation of the turnip seeds? …or maybe a strainer?

Also, great idea with the wheat lawn. Lookin’ good. And your garden looks nice, too!

An edible jungle. How cool. Happiest cat on earth.

I’ve heard that mixing some hydrogen peroxide with water and using that on plants will chase aphids and slugs away while bees love it.

    Thanks for sharing. =))

    Everything looks …
Everything looks fantastic! You know every once in a while God will give a person a little “wink” I see He has done that with that gorgeous flower you have. He winked at me with a stray mustard green seed in my package of cabbage seeds. I could find no mustard seeds anywhere in my town, none. One day I was weeding my cabbages and low and behold! A lone mustard green plan was growing! I plan on letting it go to seed and planting a ton of it next year. Currently I’m battling aphids on my cabbages.

My husband ordered me some organic insect spray for the aphids..I will let you know how it works. I have hardly any lady bugs in my yard..I think it’s because I live in such a big agricultural area, that the farmers have killed them off with pesticides. I’m getting a vid camera this month, so I will share my garden soon with ya!

I like the no mow yarden concept, however I could never do that due to the amount of bugs and ticks in my area, that would make it uninhabital.. looking good !

    You’ve got lots of …
You’ve got lots of stuff - well done. It’s wilder than my german ex-girlfriend’s armpits but it’s nothing a good flame-thrower wouldn’t sort out. A good trick for that seed-digger of a cat is to put some thorny bushes onto your patch while they’re growing.

Do you know what runner beans are and have you some. I’ve some but must tie them up or something - they’re creeping on the ground. They grow very quick.

Do you know if you can plant potatoes throughout the summer months? I hope so.
