    Yeah, I so agree …
Yeah, I so agree with the stuff at the end. Kids absorb whatever is happening around them (regardless of what so many people would like to believe). It’s a powerful motivator to watch your own shortcomings and address them.

    Trampolines are bad …
Trampolines are bad if more than one person jumps on it at the same time; and even more so when another person jumping on it is twice as heavy as the other person. Had a 5 yo with a shattered ankle when the rebound effect of the trampoline broke her ankle. The other person was a twenty year old man, weighing over 180 lbs.

    Exactly. Thank you. …
Exactly. Thank you. You don’t treat them like Children & that they aren’t smart. I treat my nephews & nieces like they’re little adults. I may have to explain a little more, and use smaller, easier words, but they always seem to be interested to know things. My nephew was reading archie comics when he was 3 and a half, because my sister was more interactive with him. He was never really interested in tv, but he loved books cause she always read to him. 1st 3 years are important for development.

No. The key is for …
No. The key is for parents to safe guard our children and make certain that they play safe. Kids don’t read safety brochures and don’t know or understand the inherent dangers. I can’t tell you the number of quadriplegics I’ve seen working in the EW from diving in pools. I usually see ten kids every summer and playing roulette for a wheelchair doesn’t sound great when it’s your kid.

    Modeling is very …
Modeling is very important. Do you think that children with same sex parents have a greater tendency to become a lesbian/homosexual?

it does not happen. the side effects are minor and unnoticeable.
just a question, how often do you see a gay couple with an unwanted kid.?
and how ofete you see a straigth couple with a malnourished unwanted kid ?

    When you say that …
When you say that the side effects are minor and unnoticable, are you giving your opinion or are there trustworthy scientific studies?

  23. By odinmp5 on Jul 13, 2008 | Reply

    scientific. from …
scientific. from studies in holland , sweden and in the u,s.
    1. the main side effect does not come from the parents but from the peers at school, wich are often influenced by their hetero-christian parents to act in different negative ways towards kids of same sex parents.
    2. the other side effect is that when they get to puberty they might be a little confused adn might develop some kind of homophobia whic is always easily solved.

    I wasn’t talking …
I wasn’t talking about attitudes towards homosexuals but about the influence of homosexual parents on the sexual preference of their child. The vid was about modeling.
