Insomnia: I have a feeling you were looking for videos about depression and were disappointed when this one came up. Well, since you’re having trouble finding depression videos, I’ll help you with your diagnosis. The aggressive nature of your comment signifies to me that you are indeed depressed. Some people become very angry and frustrated when they are depressed. I urge you to seek medical help. Leaving rude comments will lower your self-esteem and worsen your depression. Good luck to you.

You have no f-ing clue what you’re talking about. It’s very hard to know if you have PPD or if you’re just frustrated and if you know so much then how do you explain that plenty of the women who get ppd are moms that never planned to go back to work so there is no maternity leave to extend. please evolve from being an idiotic caveman to someone whose at least educated on the subject.

    The part about …
The part about PPPsychosis and having obsessive thoughts as a part of this–that’s mixed up. PP OCD is separate, and is NOT at all close to being PPP.

A mom with PPP is more likely to be bipolar (and sometimes’ it is the birth of their baby that brings to light that mom is bipolar). The kinds of things that indicate PPPsychosis is the halucinations and delusions, like Andrea Yates had. –fear that one’s children are possessed by the devil or similar things.

    These thoughts or …
These thoughts or images are the protective instinct on overdrive, looking for anything and everything that could go wrong. These are very treatable and DO NOT indicate something mom would like to do. Moms with PP OCD don’t harm their children.

    If mom cannot …
If mom cannot follow the plot of a TV show–that kind of thing. And, PPP is a medical emergency. Take the mom to ER, right away.

PP OCD is the scary thoughts (”Intrusive thoughts”). These moms usually have the obsessions, which are the thoughts. Compulsions are the behaviors like handwashing and counting etc. These moms are frightened by their thoughts, feel like bad moms for having them, and go out of their way to avoid things like knives, heights, stoves, etc.
