Love in its motif
living fire at heavens door
under cliffs
swimming the valley of skulls
embrace that which we never know

Here is a little background from Andrew about the particular sounds that are heard in the video:

The tower had many old style yagi antennas on it. These antenna were made of simple aluminum tubes, of various diameter and length. When the wind blew, it made a lovely sound, as you noticed.

This recording was made with a pair of Behringer measurement microhpones. I used two Behringer mic-200 tube pre-amps because I needed to supply the mics with phantom power. I fed those into an iriver HP140 jukebox. The HP140 was running rockbox software. Since this was truly ‘field’ recording, and the mic-200 preamps required mains current, I used a small 12v auto inverter for the AC.

There were many trees near the site, so while the strong wind made the haunting sound, it also filled the trees with noise, which I don’t think helps.

The regular ‘tapping’ sound you hear is the sound of a loose cable hanging from the tower, and slapping against a microwave dish.
