    you get $250 a month, free travel, get to help people in a very direct way, and you learn a foreign language or two. and they’re selective because you have to be independent, unlike military where they simple tell you what to do.

    if your issue is over money then why the hell would you be considering this?! your a peace corps VOLUNTEER bc your giving your time for humanitarian causes, not for your personal gain.

    some colleges have a program where you can get your degrees from the peace corps it’s like studying abroad.
