::WHY MINI-PSYCH SCHOOL::

Mental illnesses affect one out of four individuals. Whatever the severity of the illness, it cannot be ignored or disregarded. For many, coping with these illnesses can be a lonely lifelong challenge.

Mini-Psych School was developed to: 1 — Provide public education on mental illnesses. 2 — Sensitize the general public to mental health issues. 3 — Dispel myths about mental disorders.

By bringing together experts in the fields of Psychology and Psychiatry with members from the community, Mini-Psych School provides easily accessible information about the brain and mental disorders, why they appear, what happens when they appear and ways to treat them.
