NLK Mugen Team Battle #3: aznpikachu215

NOTE: I have not been able to get the sound any higher than I can currently get it, so, if you have any complaints, there’s nothing I can do: I don’t know how to adjust it any more. It must be a problem with my comp. And, also, the “Region” mode will NOT work for me, either.

A MOMENT TO WATCH FOR: In the first match, after Beppu’s Kyo and CCI Rocky’s Kusanagi have exhausted themselves out, Beppu’s Iori does an anti-air flame counter that finally manages to kill off ihoo1836’s Iori Yagami, when the former has VIRTUALLY NO LIFE REMAINING.

This is for you, Barrysun!

My guys, Beppu’s Kyo and Iori XI, take on their alter egos: Kusanagi, by CCI Rocky, and Iori Yagami, by Yagami/ihoo1836, who comprise aznpikachu215’s team.

A few words on their AI:

Kusanagi: He’s pretty damn tough. His specialty is to hit you when you’re off guard and then cancel that into supers. Speaking of those, besides his normal specials, they do massive damage, and his DM, a giant fire ball, can shave off more than half a lifebar if it the timing on its connection is PERFECT (not shown in this video).

Iori Yagami: Just as annoying as the former, if not more so. He seems to have all of his features from KoF 2000-SvC Chaos (”Armor” mode, “Counter” mode, and a “Maximum” power bar mode), his AI is extremely competitive, his specials do a decent amount of damage, his supers are crazy, and his DMs are outrageously powerful (I have seen his Orochi Iori Exceed shave off an entire lifebar once; I’m serious). Another annoying thing about him is that, no matter what time his supers connect, they do FULL DAMAGE.

All matches are AI battles on Level 8, unless otherwise stated.

    Dude, you’re a good …
    Dude, you’re a good friend and all, but I gotta say, if you’re not actually doing the fighting, then, well, this video has no real point, does it? I personally can’t fathom how people find this video impressive, not to mention rate it highly. Well, if they want to watch AI go all day, then I guess that could be fun, but it’s always better to defeat a team with your own skills.

    He put a lot of hard work into it, and I want to make sure that it gets shown properly here on YT.

    I agree. I just want to have something that gives me a spot on YouTube’s more “respected” list.

    All I did was comment and fave everyone’s videos all the time earlier. Now, I’m MAKING them. Personally, I think it’s a great new endeavor.

    Remember how aznpikachu215 started out as a showcaser, then became a player? I might just do that in the future, but not now.

    I understand. I just don’t think it should be done, seeing as how setting AI to fight each other is potentially the worst way to do a Mugen video. I’ll admit I’m not the greatest player but at least I’m playing, and I use characters that aren’t strict to use like a KOF character would be. Letting the AI fight all the time doesn’t gain respect, trust me.

    As for AI fights not gaining respect, I know. I’m just bored, and I want to do something fun.

    So, essentially, until I find a more exciting endeavor in life, this is my ‘holy grail.’

    BTW, did you hear about how one of Moldredd’s closest friends died in a freak car accident? It’s pretty awful news, if you ask me.

    And, I’m not unfamiliar with such a feeling of loss and sadness, either (or, at least I won’t be soon). My grandmother is currently extremely sick with cancer, and on the brink of dying. She has to have a nurse stay at her house and take care of her 24/7.

    My parents have had to endure it several times (most recently was my father’s mother’s death four years ago: he was 63, and she was 86).

    I guess it’s my turn now (and another for my mother; of course, as you know, my grandmother was also her mother) to face the trials, shames, and tribulations of the real life world… <:-( (hangs head quietly in sadness)

    It’s all right, Matrimelee. Thanks for the warm words. Actually, I think that my granddad is going to be okay. It’s my grand-MOTHER I’m more worried about right now. As I mentioned before, she is unfortunately going to die of cancer, and is near-deathly ill. She has to have a nurse stay with her and take care of her 24/7. She is 77, BTW. <:-(

    About the stage: well, I downloaded a customized Mugen earlier, and this was one of the stages that came with it.

    Hmm…Ok…Just …
    Hmm…Ok…Just follow these steps (This is only without mic, and no, you can’t speak, but it will have the game sound)

    1. Double click on volume (Next to the clock)
    2. Click on options
    3. Click on properties
    4. Then click on Adjust volume for “Recording.”
    5. And finally, make a check mark on the “Wave Out Mix.”
    6. That should give you the game sound.

    Try it.
