Sadly, it remains …
Sadly, it remains an idea and not reality.

It is NOT …
It is NOT electricity or soul or any new age crap…just like it is not the life force or magic. Qi (pronounced chee) is just the sum total of all the parts and systems in western medicine. If you take away one chemical or system you have no Qi just like you would have no life. The same reason you can’t see Qi is the same reason you can’t see life. You can only see the activity of qi or life, not a physical substance that exists apart from other matter.

Qi (also “chi”) is …
Qi (also “chi”) is the communication between cells and ares of the body. A researcher injected a radioactive isotope into a known acupuncture point and it moved up and down the channel according to imaging equipment. Even though there is no known anatomical structure to carry it (no vessel, etc) it flowed just as described 2500 years ago. Also acu points have a lower resistance to electricity than other flesh, measureable on very simple equipment. Like I say below qi is NOT electricity.
