    I only say PCs are …
    I only say PCs are better for word processing and spreadsheets because MS Office sucks on Mac (all MS products for Mac are pretty poor) and that’s considered the de-facto standard. I was wrong when I said they always where though, because the very first spreadsheet software was for the Apple II.

Apple, actually didn’t come up with most of their ideas inside OSX, Widgets, arn’t actually an original creation of Apple, neither is RSS feeds, In-built calenders or search bars. You do also realise that Apple copied Windows Media Centers interface and turned it into FrontRow and Apple Tv right? and They took Creatives zen interface back in 2001 for their iPod,, Creative sued.

    what the hell does that mean SuckMyR2h, macs dont even have a start menu. they have Finder, which I think is much more convenient than windows, buts thats just me. So how did they steal? Also, u cant compare the toolbar to the dock. Every operating system needs some sort of toolbar or else you could not do anything, so the toolbar in windows is no innovation. however, a simple yet powerful photo software like iPhoto is an innovation, and Microsoft took every feature and called it theirs.

    another thing, whining about mac taking the toolbar is like whining about the fact that because Ford invented the car and the engine, all the other car companies copied. Well no they didnt, they took THE IDEA and modified it on their own so they were actually making SOMETHING NEW. microsoft did not innovate at all, they just took it all without trying to modify it.

    i do agree with you jordin on the point that alot of mac users are arrogant pricks. to them macs are ‘elite’ and therefore they are constantly trying to make ppl care about the fact that they have one. i do like macs, but theyre not something i arrogantly shout for, unless there is some example like this one where it is complete copying and shows lame design teamwork

    How dumb can people get, Creative patented the tilt wheel in 2005, 4 years after the release of the first iPod. The reason why they did this was because Apple was owning them in sales numbers. Media Center, M$ copied it from other companies creating simular solutions. Copying is the way to go in the IT industry. Nowdays several companies make money by patenting the most redicculous things and sueing other companies, Creative is an example of this.
